What are the dimensions/weights of each bag?

Commuter Duffle Pack: - Rolled: 22” L x 11.5 W x 11” H (55.8cm x 29.2cm x 27.9cm) - Unrolled: 30.5” L x 11.5 W x 11” W (77.5cm x 29.2cm x 27.9cm)

Commuter Tote Bag: - 17” L x 15” H x 5” W (43.2cm x 38.1cm x 12.7cm)

I’m going on a trip. How many days can each bag fit?

The Commuter Duffle Pack expands from 40L-62L while the Commuter Tote bag is 21L. We did the research on various sites, but here’s what REI says: - Weekend (1-3 nights; 30-50 liters) - Multiday (3-5 nights; 50-80 liters) - Extended-trip (5+ nights; 70 liters or larger)

How big of a laptop can each bag fit?

Both bags were designed to fit up to a 17” laptop!

When will I receive my stuff?

After the campaign is finished, we’ll dedicate the following couple weeks to collect shipping information from backers and once we get them all, we’ll go ahead and prep for fulfillment. We’re looking to have all the products produced and shipped over to us by December. Once we have them all in-house, we’ll immediately begin shipping them out. You should be able to receive your rewards in December 2017 and latest by January 2018.

Can I add on other products to my reward?

Most definitely! Adding onto your rewards is super simple. At the end of the campaign, we’ll send over a survey to collect your information and in that survey, you’ll easily find the option to add-on more rewards or any of the products we offer.

What if I want to buy more than what is listed in the rewards?

Let’s say, for example, you want to by 4 Commuter Duffle Packs (you’re cool), but the reward tiers only allow for 2 max. At the end of the campaign, you can add on 2 more Commuter Duffle Packs in the survey!

How are you shipping/fulfilling?

We’ll be handling shipping/fulfillment in-house, which means that we personally check the quality of each product that gets shipped out and we personally package them for you. We planned for the best case situation that if we get a overflow of orders that we can’t handle ourselves, we’ll hire a third-party fulfillment party to help get your rewards in your hands on time.

What are you going to do with the funds you raise?

With the support from you, we’re looking to bring this product to life by dedicating a majority of the funds to production and fulfillment. Another part of the money raised will go to product development of new ideas and hiring employees to help out with customer support as that’s a big priority for us to make sure our supporters are taken care of.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
